WHAT'S IT ALL ABOUT?
The Cork Schools Enterprise Programme

Almost 70% of people who become self-employed do not prepare for their new role and responsibilities. Specifically, almost 90% do not study their market. As a result on average about 50% of all businesses in Europe fail within five years of starting.

The Cork Schools Enterprise Programme aims to educate students about the realities of setting up and running a business.

The questions in the Self-Assessment Guide will help students assess their suitability for starting and running a business. Please click the link on the left to download the guide.

For further information and business guidelines please access the Teachers Resource section of the website.

The Cork Enterprise Boards are an initiative supported by the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment and the European Union and is funded under the National Development Plan.
