These guidelines should assist students in presenting their report. Many students do not enjoy this element of their Enterprise module. It is useful therefore to have some guidelines in place as it makes the task less daunting.

It is worthwhile also getting a large file or box to keep copies of materials for example photographs, market research surveys, questionnaires, promotional materials, correspondance, etc. It can be difficult to find them at a later stage!

The purpose of the report is to:
· Encourage you to evaluate your enterprise
· To demonstrate to others what your business is all about
· To produce a Business Report
· To promote your learning experience

When evaluating your Enterprise you should consider the following:
· Was your choice of product or service good? Why?
· Would you choose it again/do it differently?
· Was it difficult to organise/produce?
· Were there hidden costs?
· Who were your target customers?
· Who bought your product/service?
· Did you make a profit/loss?
· Did you learn from the experience?

It is important to demonstrate to others what your business is all about.
Ask yourself?

· Does my report make it very clear to everyone what I am doing?
· Have I included pictures, sketches, graphs, etc. to demonstrate?
· Does my report indicate clearly my total understanding of the enterprise?
· Is it easily read without typographical or spelling errors?
