The rules for the Cork City and County Student Enterprise Awards are in line with the rules for the National Student Enterprise Awards.

Projects to be presented at the Student Enterprise Awards Finals by a maximum of 5 students.

Participants must:

1. have operated a real business (in exceptional circumstances developed a business proposal/plan)
2. submit 5 copies of their business report by the designated closing date
3. set-up a business display at the venue by the designated time

Reports should not exceed 20 single sided or 10 double-sided pages, including appendices and financial details.

Display to be confined to floor area of 1.5 metres x 1.5 metres.

Entries will be judged on the basis of written business report, business display and may include an interview.

Each participating City/County Enterprise Board may nominate one entry per category to participate in the Student Enterprise Awards National Final.

Decision of judging panels will be final.

Note: The above rules apply to both County and National Finals. There is no Teamwork Score in the National Competition.
